Water crisis averted in Capital

Delhi has managed to avert a water crisis with DJB engineers deciding to defer a proposed strike, which was called over its top officials being allegedly humiliated by an Assembly panel. Officers claimed these tactics are being used to create an atmosphere of “fear”.

This is not the first time a top officer has been targeted. Last month PWD secretary Ashwini Kumar and CM Arvind Kejriwal got into an ugly spat. A case against Kumar was made for desilting of drains in the city.
