Kerala gold smuggling case: NIA arrests six more of us, conducts searches at 6 locations at some level of yelp

New Delhi: The National Investigation Company (NIA) has arrested six more of us and performed searches at six locations in connection with the Kerala gold smuggling case, an reputable said on Sunday.

On 31 July, two more accused, Mohammed Shafi P and Abdu PT, both residents of Malappuram, were arrested within the case, he said.

On 1 August, the NIA arrested two more people – Ernakulam-residents Muhammad Ali Ebrahim and Muhammad Ali – after investigation printed that they were half of the conspiracy, besides aiding and assisting Jalal AM in accumulating the smuggled gold from Ramees KT in Thiruvananthapuram and distributing the contraband amongst other conspirators, he said.
