Kanpur: One more accused of the Kanpur ambush for the duration of which eight policemen had been killed by henchmen of slain gangster Vikas Dubey surrendered earlier than a court docket on Monday.
Superintendent of Police (Rural) Brajesh Srivastava told PTI that Govind Saini surrendered earlier than the court docket in Kanpur Dehat.
The UP Particular Project Power (STF) and the Kanpur police had been in search of Govind Saini ever since his title had figured in the massacre that took location at Kanpur’s Bikru village on 2 July evening.

Govind Saini’s brother Gopal Saini had surrendered earlier than a special court docket in Kanpur Dehat about 20 days ago.
Folk that are restful at dapper are Chotu Shukla, Shiv Tewari, Vishnu Pal Yadav, Ramu Bajpai, Hiru Dubey and Bal Govind.
As many as six high accused – Vikas Dubey, Prabhat Mishra, Amar Dubey, Bauan Dubey, Prem Kumar Pandey and Atul Dubey – had been gunned down in separate encounters since 3 July.
