Jammu: Pakistani Rangers opened fire on forward posts and villages alongside the World Border (IB) in Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir, officers acknowledged on Sunday.
The firing from across the border in Pansar border outpost location in Hiranagar sector started around 10 pm on Saturday, drawing trusty and effective retaliation from the Border Safety Pressure (BSF), the officers acknowledged.
They acknowledged the gruesome-border firing between the 2 aspects continued except 3.45 am on Sunday, forcing border residents to spend the night in underground bunkers.
There used to be no file of any injury in the firing on the Indian facet, the officers acknowledged.
