Kanpur: An Military colonel posted in Kanpur used to be booked on Sunday for allegedly raping a chum’s partner at an officers mess, police talked about.

The sufferer’s husband, a civilian, lodged an FIR in opposition to the Military officer at the Cantonment police pickle, Superintendent of Police (East) Raj Kumar Agarwal talked about.

In line with the complainant, his partner is of Russian descent and has been residing in India for 10 years.

“Police get launched a probe and efforts are being made to nab the colonel. His buddy has acknowledged in the FIR that the colonel had invited his partner and him to a celebration on the occasion of his promotion to the spoiled of colonel from that of lieutenant colonel on Saturday,” Agarwal talked about.

The accused allegedly offered an intoxicating drink to his buddy to produce him unconscious and raped his partner, he added.

The accused moreover allegedly assaulted the girl when she build up a resistance.

A case has been registered below varied sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and quite a lot of different police groups were shaped to nab the accused.
