Indian Army chief Basic MM Naravane leaves for three-day search recommendation from to South Korea

New Delhi: Army chief Basic MM Naravane on Monday left for South Korea on a 3-day search recommendation from at some stage in which he’s going to defend talks with the tip defence brass of the country on systems to amplify bilateral defense force cooperation, officials said.

South Korea has been a foremost supplier of defense force platforms and weapons to India.

The Chief of Army Workers’s search recommendation from to South Korea comes two weeks after concluding a six-day important tour of the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia that mirrored India’s increasing strategic ties with the two influential Gulf nations.

In the South Korean capital, Seoul, Basic Naravane is scheduled to fulfill the country’s minister for nationwide defence, navy chief and chairman of joint chiefs of group, the officials said. The Chief of Army Workers might also meet South Korea’s minister of defence acquisition planning administration (DAPA).

Gen Naravane will focus on avenues for bettering defence relations between India and the Republic of Korea, the Army said in an announcement. The Army Chief might also search recommendation from the Korea Fight Coaching Centre in Gangwon province and Advance Defence Vogue (ADD) facility at Daejeon.

Final month, Gen Naravane travelled to Nepal on a 3-day search recommendation from that had fundamental diplomatic overtones.

In October, the Chief of Army Workers, accompanied by International Secretary Harsh Vardhan Shringla, travelled to Myanmar at some stage in which India decided to provide an assault submarine to the Myanmar Navy besides agreeing to further deepen defense force and defence ties.
