GoAir sacks senior pilot for tweeting ‘derogatory’ remarks in opposition to PM Narendra Modi

Novel Delhi: GoAir has sacked a senior pilot who made derogatory remarks about Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Twitter on Thursday.

“GoAir has terminated the products and services of the Captain with immediate create,” the airline’s spokesperson said on Saturday when requested about the objectionable tweets by pilot Miki Malik.

Captain Malik, who made the remarks about the prime minister on Thursday, has deleted the offensive tweets and locked his yarn on Twitter.

A GoAir spokesperson said the airline has a nil tolerance policy on such matters and it’s essential for its workers to appear on the company’s employment rules, rules and policies, together with social media behaviour.
