‘Fisherfolk need objective ministry, now now not only a division’: Rahul Gandhi responds to PM’s jibe


New Delhi: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Thursday acknowledged fisherfolk need an objective fisheries ministry and now now not only a division inner a ministry, responding to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s swipe at him.

At a public assembly in Puducherry, the prime minister expressed shock over Gandhi’s commentary closing week that there became no “devoted” fisheries ministry. On the time, BJP leaders, at the side of Union ministers, had also taken a swipe at Gandhi.

Responding to the prime minister’s swipe, Gandhi tweeted, “Expensive PM, Fisherfolk need an objective and devoted ministry of fisheries, now now not only a division inner a ministry.”

In 2019, the Modi govt had formed a Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying.

In a separate tweet, Gandhi also attacked the government over a media file claiming that the government has started clearing international affirm funding proposals from China on a case-by-case basis. Gandhi acknowledged, “China has understood that Mr Modi buckles below their strain. They now know they are able to fetch irrespective of they wish from him.”

In a single other tweet, Gandhi also attacked the government over the scenario of employment and requested the government to create jobs for the early life.
